River Crossing is set on 100 acres of pristine land, overlooking the lush farmlands of the champagne valley and is bounded by both the Mtontsi and the Sterkspruit rivers. Local reedbuck and duiker take their refuge in the surrounding riverine vegetation and there is a wonderful array of wild flower which peak their display in October. The tar road up to the property and beyond offers good cycling options. Choose to spend idyllic days in quietness, interrupted only by sounds from a proliferation of birds, which (amongst many others) include ground hornbills, eagles, vultures, cranes, swifts, whydahs, weavers, or, choose to up the tempo by enjoying great nearby attractions which include:
